Quick beach-safety memo: check the daily flag (green/yellow/red) for rip currents and swim near a lifeguard; if you’re caught in a rip, swim parallel to shore, not against it. Reapply sunscreen midday when UV peaks, drink more water than you think on the bike, and shuffle your feet in the shallows to nudge stingrays out of the way.
